Hi everyone!
I applied early decision to USC and received a delayed answer that I will get the week of March 16th. I know my scores are on the lower side, but my gpa is great, I sent in a killer recommendation letter and I feel that my essay was good as well. My Sat total score is 1620, and I believe it is a total of 1040 with just the math and critical reading sections. My act is a 23…so I know my scores are low for this school, but do I still have a chance of getting in? I am out of state also.
You know where you stand on your academic stats for typical admission. Your scores put you at the top of the bottom quartile. Call and find out if USC will take into consideration an updated transcript from your 1st semester senior year showing you are finishing high school strong. That will also show continued interest in attending USC. Admissions people want to late admit students who are going to say, “Yes!”
