<p>Your sophomore GPA is disheartening, but I think that if at the end of senior year and you have above 3.0 GPA, you'd be fine. Also just to be safe apply to UC Merced as well.</p>

<p>thats really discouraging to have that sophomore GPA, since the UCs are based on junior/soph gpa... you should find out if you even have the course qualification to apply, because i remember something about at least a C in all required courses.</p>
