Will I be admitted to SJSU?

Ok so I'm panicking right now, I'm planning on transferring to San Jose state university from las positas college in about one or two semesters from now and my gpa will be very likely about 3.0 by then, will that be enough? I don't know if helps my chances but I live fairly close to SJSU and I'm a first generation hispanic student, I will also be the first in my family to obtain a college degree. So what do you guys think? I'm i screwed? What are my options? Thanks in advance.

I think you have a good chance, but what are some of the details? How long have you been at Las Positas? Did your GPA start out low and is now getting higher? What do you want to study?

Well I’ve been at las positas for about two years. But the first semester I didn’t know what I wanted do so i pretty much wasted my time taking useless classes like athletics, economics, anthropology, and history. I didn’t do so well in my first semester wich is one of the reasons why my gpa is low. But I usually do well in math, physics and engineering courses, except calc2 kicked my ass add I only managed to get a C. @Seleidun
