I'm worried about my sophomore year because my math wasn't up to par, so I wasn't able to take an advanced science class.
Basically I'm just worried about my stats in general.
William and Mary is my first choice school and it's my dream to go there. Is early decision a good idea, especially with my stats?

Thanks!

Bump

It’s not clear why math grades, which are good, prohibited you from taking advanced science courses. Will your sr year math course include calculus? Admissions seems to look for that.

In general the grades are fine; yes, applying ED would be a good idea. Good luck!

It was my math level that prevented me from taking higher level science during sophomore year. I had to be in at least algebra 2 in order to take IB Chemistry I. I think it’s a stupid rule, but whatever. I’m taking IB Math Studies SL senior year, which touches on calculus, but I’m not taking calculus.
Thank you so much for your advice!! I’m definitely going to apply early decision, I just wanted to make sure I would be okay. :)

You should be just fine applying early decision! I got in this year and I think that your grades/ecs are up to par. It’s an amazing school, and don’t forget to do an interview and take a campus tour.
