I filled out the common application for university of chicago on dec 27. the deadline was jan 5 for the rest. Yes, I am aware that procrastination is bad. I just wanted to add just one more sentence and boom, next thing I know, the supplement is submitted at 12:01 AM jan 6. anyway, im really desperate to know if this will negatively impact my application in any way. will they consider it, or will they toss it, or will they treat it worse just because it was submitted late? i wont be able to sleep. should i email admissions or just hope they dont notice? please help
I just finished getting off the phone with an admission’s counselor from University of Chicago. I had submitted my application on time, but did not know that the writing supplemental part had its own submit button until about an hour after the deadline. Needless to say, I freaked out. So this morning, I called admissions and explained and he said it wasn’t a problem because my application was in on time. So in your case, everything should be all fine! Just nip that procrastination stuff in the bud because it becomes a habit.
Hopefully, I’ll see you at UChicago! Sleep well xD
