<p>I'm currently at UMBC, and I applied as a transfer for Fall 2012. However, UMD postponed my admissions decision because they wanted my second semester grades. The only problem is that my GPA has been terrible this year. First semester I got a 2.8 and a Withdrawal from a class I knew I would fail. And this semester I did even worse and will get between a 2.4 or 2.6. I took a total of 28 credits this year, and they needed my high school stuff. My SAT score was 1710 and GPA was a 3.6. Honestly, is it likely that I will be denied for Fall 2012? Since my GPA is low and did not improve? Should I reapply for Spring 2013 and try my best to get above a 3.0? I'm a freshman, by the way, and the anticipation is killing me! And I need to plan what I'll need to do if I am rejected. Thanks!</p>
