Hi, i am studying indian ISC curriculum in dubai. i recently got admissions in Wisconsin-madiosn and purdue university.
i will appear for my prelim examinations and board examinations. my consellor will have to send these scores as my final report. now, that i have got acceptance, i am not motivated at all to study for my exams. So, if i do not get good grades, will the universities reject my offer?
Study. Get the best grades you’re capable of getting. At some point in your career, perhaps sooner than you may expect, your focus on excelling, your school “rank”, and your academic reputation in your current school will matter.
They can and will reject your offer if you fall below an expected threshold. Examine your offer for an indication of that. You need to be motivated for yourself and not just for short term goals, please examine the damage your attitude can do to you.
its not that i will do really badly. i have the potential to score 90% above overall. like what i mean is… i sent my 12th grad first term results- 85%. if it drops to 82-83 %, will it matter? im a capable student and when i say bad grades, i mean between 80 to 85 %
At our school those would be Cs. Is that significantly different from the HS grades in your app? Look at your offer to see the wording.
