I got into UCLA for sociology, and according to the freshman contract I can’t get two+C’s/D/F without reporting it. Also, I need to maintain a 3.0 GPA.

Will I be rescinded? I can’t go to school rn due to the Corona virus and I can’t bring my grade up… I suspect this C to be final. Help, will I be rescinded?
Me too, until I saw this contract on the freshman login portal.
Maintain Academic Performance
Complete your senior year program with the same high standards you have demonstrated thus far. You must complete the senior year academic classes listed on your application with at least a minimum overall unweighted B average.
You must notify our office if, in your senior year, you receive two or more C grades; you receive any D or F grades; or your class schedule changes. See the “Contacting UCLA” section below.
Schools do not like to rescind acceptances and if your overall record is good which I assume is true since UCLA accepted you, I do not think this will be an issue as long as the C doesn’t drop any further. Reporting the 2 C’s is just that “reporting”, it does not mean you will be rescinded.
Hi everyone. I recently admitted to UCLA Chemistry major. I am transferring from a community college. My current GPA is about 3.6 . This is my last semester at college. I am extremely nervous right now because I think I am going to have a C in a preparatory class this semester. According to my contract that I have to report a change if I have any C (my first C) grades in major preparatory classes… I would like to seek some thoughts. Is there any chance my admission will be rescinded? Thank you a lot for your help.
@Gumbymom I called admissions offices yesterday, and they said that I only had to report it if I got 2 C’s in SEMESTER, not a whole year. Apparently the person who responded even checked with her colleague. TBH, I still feel a bit skeptical; do you know if there’s any site where it’s written that I only have to report if it’s 2/more C’s per SEMESTER?
@teagrace I’m in the same situation where I got a C in fall semester and another C in spring semester. However, I called the undergraduate admissions office yesterday and she said that I only needed to report if it was 2 C’s in a SEMESTER, not a year. I still felt skeptical so she told me to send an email to undergrad office so I could get written proof. Can you call them as well and ask if that’s true? Their office hours are Monday-Friday 1PM-4PM and their number is (310) 825-3101. Hopefully that will bring you and me some peace of mind.
@Gumbymom@teagrace For me it also says “You must notify our office if, in your senior year, you receive two or more C grades; you receive any D or F grades; or your class schedule changes. See the “Contacting UCLA” section below.” I thought this meant that I would have to report grade changes. However, just to make sure, I called UCLA undergrad admissions office. I told them that I got a C in fall sem and a C in spring sem and the responder said that was okay, but she would just check in with a colleague(s) just to make sure. She came back and said that the UCLA contract wasn’t clear, and really meant that I had to report grade drop if I got 2 or more C’s in a SEMESTER. This was really surprising for me, but in a good way. I still wanted written confirmation so I could use it as proof if I ever needed it so I wrote an email to UCLA, and they’ll prolly send me an answer in a week or 2. Still, if someone else would call them to see if they get the same answer, that would be very appreciated. Like I said in my comment above, I believe their hours are Monday through Friday 1PM-4PM
The wording is a bit ambiguous but as long as you got confirmation that it is 2 or more C’s in a Semester and keep the documentation, then you are good.
Can I ask how’s UCLA’s response to this years’ IB grades :(? My final IB grades were downgraded by 11 marks (well, I’m still waiting for the remarking results)
