Hi Everyone, sorry for the lengthy message, but I was wondering if I had any chance at all to be a finalist for Questbridge.

My dad makes about 71,000 a year (before taxes and deductions), and he is the only one supporting our family of five. We live in America, but are here under a working visa (I'll be considered an int'l student when applying for colleges). Since I don't have a green card, most of the schools I'm applying to can't give me much financial aid.

I also go to a boarding school under financial aid, and my siblings are considering applying next year the same time I will apply for colleges. This has put a lot of strain on my parents, and we're still not sure how we will pay for it all.

Race: Asian

SAT II: 710 Math2, 750 Bio, 740 Lit
APs: Chem 3; English Language 5; US History 5; Bio 4; AB Calc 5; taking Micro/macroeconomics, English Lit, Physics C senior year (and also multivariables, which isn't an AP class)

Sports: Varsity Cross Country for 3 years, Track for 2 years
Clubs/Activities: President/Cofounder of school's asian diversity club, Tutor at writing center, Science Olympiad Captain, Orchestra (made it to district honor band), Marching Band

Community Service: over 200 hours in volunteering at a local kid's camp, volunteering/shadowing in a hospital, and building solar panels in rural areas of the US

Again, sorry for such a long email, but I'm getting a little nervous about funding college. Based on what I've read from the website, my family's income seems to high for me to even be considered, but it'd be impossible for us to pay full tuition for any schools I apply to.

I'd really appreciate any comments!
