Will I Fail At Northwestern Engineering?

Are the engineering classes at NU much harder than high school classes? Do you think engineering at Northwestern would be about as hard as any solid school?

I really like Northwestern and hope I get in, but I am a little nervous about my potential experience there.

Thanks.

All engineering classes are harder than HS classes. No matter what school you will attend. Schools that are ABET certified should have the same material covered. Most differences will be in the research.

If you get in then you obviously have the ability to be successful there. If you didn’t they would have rejected you.

Alright, thanks. You’re probably right. It just seems from this site that everyone who goes to Northwestern Engineering is a super genius.

Not sure how you think we can answer this question. Obviously it is difficult. NU’s engineering program is very highly regarded and the average GPA is somewhere around 2.8. These are (almost) all 3.8+ kids in high school.

While I do believe you can answer my second question, I realize my questions are somewhat ignorant (I tried to delete the post, but CC won’t allow it).
