<p>They say once you accept the fact that you were meant to be alone, then it becomes easier to live with it. So i just gotta get past this stage and start accepting it, and I will feel great!</p>
<p>Nobody feels great alone in the long term.</p>
<p>@burg- who the heck says that? Maybe you have to love yourself before you can love someone else, but I’ve never heard that phrase before.</p>
<p>Just because you don’t have an intimate relationship with another being doesn’t mean you shall feel alone forever. Not everyone needs that to be complete.</p>

<p>Would it really? I think if the person was totally accepting of their, uh, ‘situation’ and didn’t care at all, then from that person’s perspective it would not be sad.</p>
<p>I mean, I hate being single and alone, absolutely hate it. If it was easier to just sort of turn off that desire than it is to find someone, I’d probably do that.</p>
<p>^^ For you it may seem like a sad life, but not everybody needs someone else to be happy.</p>
<p>If you really are happy alone, then good for you! But, don’t force yourself to be happy alone if that’s not who you are- because you never will be truly happy.</p>
