I was wondering if you thought I could get a decent scholarship to one of these schools:

Ramapo
Montclair
Stockton
Rutgers

with these stats:

Academics:

GPA - Unweighted: 3.85
GPA - Weighted: 4.00
Class Rank: top 10%
Class Size: 350

Extracurriculars:

Extracurriculars: Student Council, Key Club, Newspaper, Spanish Honor Society
Athletic Status - list sport and your level: Varsity Cross Country

Volunteer/Service Work: Library Volunteer

I plan on working towards a 2200 SAT score.

It’s kinda like training a racehorse and asking “will I win a race with this pony?” – the answer is “it depends” – on the pony, the jockey, the track, the competition that day, the weather . . .

Looks like you are setting up to be a strong contender. Start thinking “patchwork quilt” instead of “bedspread” because everyone wants a “full ride” scholarship and those are rare. Most students patch together several small scholarships (Rotary club, Garden club, etc) with some loans, some work, and some savings.
