It’s not a matter of step 1, step 2, step 3, or plan A only, you will need Plan Bs Cs and maybe jump a step or take a time on one step. You can get a “good job” 3 years out of college after working for a “not so good job.” It’s rare for you to end up sticking to one company or one job straight out of college for the rest of your life. If you look at craigslist, of any major us city, there are bound to be internships posting that will build a resume, and sometimes the only requirements for them is an education or degree in a relative major(econ/business/etc). These companies might not be “BIG NAME” but these companies will provide the relevant experience or knowledge or exposure that the “BIG NAME” companies will want to see on a resume, whether straight out of college, or years down the road.</p>
