i am looking at syracuse university and it is my #1 choice. I have a 3.6 gpa and an 1800/2400 sat. i am very dedicated in my music program in my school plan to follow through with it in college since i am a very skilled musician. also i am majoring in english if that counts for anything. so what are my chances of getting a scholarship

Go to the Syracuse website and click on their financial aid section to see what scholarships they offer and what their criteria are. Also do their price calculator to see whether you might qualify for need based aid.

I don’t think your stats are high enough, but maybe if you audition for music there may be some money there?

See [Scholarship Programs](Scholarships - Office of Financial Aid & Scholarship Programs – Syracuse University)

Also… Check out fastweb.com and *****.com. Both of these have pretty excellent scholarship sections. (even if you end up not going to SU)

*edit…hrm that’s weird…CC won’t let me post another website that’s pretty well known. It’s supposed to say inch.com, but put a “z” in front of it.
