Well, according to last progress report.....I got a F in Pre-Calc class. I think right now, I have a D in that class because I retook a test and passed it and I think I passed the last test I took in that class. I got a 2.8 GPA in the last grade report. There is about 3 weeks left before first semester is officially over, I have 9 school days before finals week...in that 9 school days, I will have to bring my grade up to a C. I personally believe that I cannot do that in nine days, so my only hope to pass that class is to pass the final exam. Which I probably wont since, I did failed 95% of my tests in that class. I have been studying for the final during winter break and going to study throughout this whole week and next week. If by any chance that I do end up getting a D in that class as my permanent transcript grade.
I know that UC's does not accept any D's or F's on transcripts, but I'm not so sure for CSU's. Since the minimum GPA to qualify for State universities is a 2.0, I'm assuming that you can at least have 1 D on the transcript. If anybody knows, does CSU's accept D's in high school transcript??? Will I get rejected if I got a D??
PLEASE HELP...THANKS!

CSUs accept anything higher than a D- for credit, so as long as you have a D-, you're good! UCs do not accept Ds, you need a C to pass. And yes, you will be accept by CSUs with Ds (or just one D, as seems to be your case) on your transcript. Don't worry, it won't take you out of the running at all.

You can also retake the same class for a better grade, and CSUs will count the better grade toward your transcript. Not sure if you would want to do this, I just know it's true.

Oh, and I'm basing all this information on you being a CA resident. You are right?

Oh wow thank goodness!!! I thought I will have to end up in a community college or an art school. Thanks so much for telling me! Yes, I am a CA Resident ;]

i got into dickinson (accepts at around 40%) with a D or two and a few C's on my transcript (coupled with high SAT scores though). if i got in there, you'll be fine.

I just saw this and i was wondering if you did end up getting accepted into a college? cause i ended up getting a D in ap us history and idk if with that my chances of getting into a csu are banished
