Will I get accepted without SAT Subject?

Im planning on majoring in Biology in UC Berkeley, LA, Irvine, San Diego, and Davis. My SAT score is 1900 and I am not planning on sending in my ACT score. If i have not and will not be taking a SAT Subject test, will it hurt my chances of getting accepted?

Yes it will

Although it says it’s only strongly recommended, most applicants take it & since you didn’t, adcoms might think you’re trying to hide something.

Is it that bad?

I’m not saying it will kill your app, but it could hurt it. I suggest you take the December ACT because that I think covers your subject tests.

I got a 25 ACT composite score but I don’t want to send it in. Should I send it in anyways?

Don’t send it because your 1900 is significantly better than that score. If you know you can improve your ACT to something around 28-30, then I advise that you do so.

Oh and one more thing. My SAT score has a reading score of 530, math of 650, and writing of 720. Will UC’s look down on me because of my low reading score?
