Will I get accepted?

What are my chances of being accepted to Villanova's Business school after a year of community college?

High school:
GPA: 2.0
SAT: Didn't take

Community College:
Pre-Calc: 4.0
Psychology: 4.0
Calculus: 4.0
Statistics: 4.0
Comp & Lit I: 4.0
Comp & Lit II: 4.0
Art History: 4.0
Western Civilization: 4.0
Macroeconomics: 4.0
Honors Microeconomics: 4.0
General Biology: 4.0

Overall GPA: 4.0

been told by high school director of guidance acceptance to Villanova’s business school would not be possible with ranking of 54 out of 422 students (92.71 two year average) - currently junior. Can one apply to another school at Villanova, get accepted and then transfer prior to starting school into the business school?

Will I get accepted regular decision to VSB
30 ACT
96.25% GPA top 4% of class
6 AP classes. Lots of E/C

@trc1953: seems like you would be a good match.

@nstraub: (You might have gotten a faster response if you started your own thread.) If you are asking if he can switch into VSB after being accepted to say CLAS (for example), but before starting freshman year, sorry, I think the answer is no. One can apply as an internal transfer to VSB starting at the end of freshman year. It is quite competitive and one’s original application credentials along with freshman year record are considered. I think what you are getting at is the average credentials of students admitted to some of the programs at Villanova may differ slightly (with VSB being one with slightly higher stats). However, if one is certain one wants to be a business major, I wouldn’t recommend doing this as a planned course of action, as there is no guarantee of ultimately getting in.

@ralfhyde: Already answered this post an identical thread you posted in another forum a while ago. You need to take your sats/acts.
