<p>Decisions for early action come out in 5 days. The anticipation is killing me. This will either break me into a million pieces or put me back together.
I am applying to the nursing program.
ACT score: 30
Unweighted GPA: 3.6
Weighted GPA: 4.3
AP courses: throughout high school I will have taken 8 AP courses (1freshman year, 1 sophomore year, 2 junior year, 4 senior year)
Senior year course load: AP Biology, AP English, AP Calc AB, AP Spanish
Extracurriculars/work experience/ volunteering: the common app allows for 10 Extracurriculars and let's just say that I gave them 10... My most notable would be founding and being the leader of my high school's feminist club, I am a member of the NHS, I volunteer at my local hospital, nursing home, and nature center, I am a member if my high school's band, I am a lifeguard at my local park distinct, and I participated in sports for my freshman and sophomore year
Essay: flawless, probably the best essay I ever wrote, I talked about my experience of coping with failure and how we can learn from our mistakes and how there is no reason to spend any moments mourning over a failure because all of that time and energy can be put towards working hard for future successes
Recommendations: I have 2 and they are both from my English teachers and I asked them because they were my favorite teachers from high school and they know me the best
Interview: surprisingly it went extremely well, I completely blew my interviewer away, he said that out of all the students that he interviewed I was the most prepared and most interested in case western
Additional info: I'm from chicago and this past summer I traveled to Cleveland just to visit case western and if that doesn't show interest then I don't know what does</p>
