Hello,
Online it says a 3.69 gpa is the average HS gpa but I have a 3.5 gpa but im in the range of their average SAT score will I not get accepted because of my gpa? the school has a 81% acceptance rate
Calculate your RAI score, and Iowa is crazy fast in processing applications and notifying the applicant.

This will help you know where you stand.
you’re definitely getting it. You go to Glenbrook South too so I don’t see why they’d deny you.
It doesn’t matter where you went to high school; calculate the RAI and that’s basically your answer. Note that minimum score is slightly higher for OOS than residents. Now, given the high school mentioned, curriculum requirements are probably such that the poster has enough core courses to hit or exceed the required RAI score. Some colleges do a more holistic review of an applicant’s record, or set higher minimum test scores, e.g., nursing, engineering, business, and there could be some concern there, but there’s usually another way in, e.g., business, petition if one doesn’t meet the admission gpa and test score.
