I’m pretty sure Pton requires SATII scores to be sent, and your SATI score would be included in that package.

But if you have a high ACT and SATIIs, who knows. I would think it would be sort of the same situation as when they say they only look at your highest score after retakes, and they would pay more attention to the 30 ACT than the 1880 SAT.

Does Princeton weight the SAT/ACT/SAT IIs heavily? Or is a review of an applicant more holistic? They’d look at the rigor of your secondary courses, letters of recommendation, ECs, etc. I think those could outweigh your scores if they are stellar.

If you get in, I’m legally changing my name to Miguel Gonzales, because it will be because of Affirmative Action. An 1,880 SAT? Really? Dude, I would be livid if you got accepted. Your rank is good although your GPA seems low, your ECs seem sub-par, although I would love for somebody to correct me because I have relatively bad ECs too, and your test scores are abysmal. I got a 1,950 SAT in 9th grade…

your hooks help a lot, but low chances, SAT isnt that big of a killer they accept white kids with that score my brother got into harvard with a 1900 or sumthin, i just got into emory with a 1900 exactally, SAT dont test if your college material, just how well you’ve mastered high school. AP scores and grades are more of an indicator. All in all, its a reach

it might depend a bit on how competitive your school is – because if it’s insane, maybe they’ll just assume you’re not the most awesome standardized test-taker and leave it at that. yeah, Princeton pays a lot of attention to number, but I should think/hope they haven’t got tunnel vision :/

Sometimes people forget that college admission is more than SATs…
If it weren’t, then I sure would be mad that I spent so much time on building leadership, EC, GPA, rank, etc. for nothing…I would have failed Calculus a long time ago and gave up on math entirely! lol.

Just keep your head high, mikecerang. CC’ers have this strategy where they beat the mess out of other CC’ers morals just to make themselves feel better…competition is tough. One less competitor (no matter his/her strength), the better is the norm of thought here, unfortunately.
