Will I get good housing?

I mailed my housing deposit thingy on March 7. I put down East and the last thing I want is supplemental housing my freshman year. I plan to move off campus after frosh year just because of the price, but I want a good experience frosh year.

Do you think I sent my deposit in early enough for the normal 1 roomate deal in East?

i think so, if u check another post the member said the hosing officier told them that they ran out of regular dorms two weeks ago. if u really want to know try calling them and asking what is your chances. good luck

You'll definitely be fine. My D is a freshman there. She sent her deposit in April last year, and wanted a special living option and got in. All of her friends were in East and they all sent deposits in by the end of April. She knows kids in supplemental housing, but their deposits were in, in May. Also an FYI, everyone she knows in supplemental housing loves it, and didn't want to move out if and when a regular room became available.

yeah a lot of kids (especially guys it seems) in supplemental really like it. some of the lounges they are in are huge. i've been in a few with two stories (like a balcony on the second floor). they had a whole living room area set up with couch/chairs/tv/videogame system. it was actually a really cool.

sending it in in march, you probably won't have a problem getting a normal dorm, but don't worry too much about it. no matter what you end up with you can have an awesome experience.
