seriously soo nervous you guys, I've been praying everyday for the e-mail. do you think I'll get in?

^ I applied for UCI last year on Bio Major and I want to be in med (pre-med plan too)
With a HIGHER GPA (my GPA was 3.85).

REJECTED ( I think it was because of mediocre application, I really didn’t put the effort it needed, especially on essays)

But after getting a better AP resume, taking a year to do community service abroad in Rural Med, and even with losing a bit of GPA, I got in as a Spanish Major.

I chose it because my friend told me the less competitive the major, the easier to get in (he’s at UCI) since most UCI applicants are bio majors (or bio-relateD), it makes it really competitive to them. You can ALWAYS change your major once you’re there, which I may do. I don’t really want to be a Spanish teacher, I want to take Spanish classes yes, but I’m leaning to the Public Health Major…

i’m pretty sure you’re in, unless your essays were bad??
and you’re a minority! (a foot in the door)
i dont think you should worry much, and aside from your math, everything else looks good.
but dont worry… and GOOD LUCK!! =D

nahhh my essays were bomb
and just a quick message of hope to everyone still waiting: my best friend got a scholarship to play soccer at UCI so she is basically accepted, but UCI still hasnt sent her the e-mail of status change that she has been accepted! So don’t lose hope, I know I haven’t, they’re still sending out acceptances!!
