<p>it’s not that your scores or expected scores aren’t GOOD. they are good, maybe not to the typical CC’er but they are slightly above the average score. are they at the level that NYU is looking for? I can’t say since I’m not an ad com. They probably are on the lower side for NYU and I’m sure you are aware of that. your 11th grade year wasn’t the best, so I don’t think your school grades will be your saving grace. but the fact that you don’t need any aid is definitely a plus. and if your essay is as good as you claim then that is another plus. which leads me to this conclusion: you have a chance.</p>
