im a junior at a suburban high school on long island, and i want to get into binghamton sooo badly - but i don't think i'll get in! i didn't take any honors classes except math and i think i screwed myself over. next year im filling im scheldule to show i'm willing to work, im taking loads of science courses including AP bio and i'm taking AP calc and span 4, but is that enough? i've always made high honor roll, i'm in the top 20 of my class and made national honor society. do i have a chance to get in?? please help me because i have nooooo clue! thanks!! o ya my sats were 1200, but im taking them more!

also, what should i choose to major in for more of a chance?? biology, chemistry, physics?? please help!

You're okay; apply early since it'll help. Chemistry or physics would be better than bio, which is a popular major, especially for the pre-meds -- You will need to get your SATs up -- 1900+ would do it. Also, your extra-curriculars need to be strong as well as your essay.

I hope that 1200 is on the old SAT...Bing's old SAT average for the latest incoming freshmen is somewhere around 1250, so if you got a 1200 on the new one, well...

i got that on the old one lol

binghamton is ok,, but go aim it higher, like NYU ..i got accepted to binghamton but im going to VTech for engineering..anyways,, work hard!
