Will I get in? Please help

<p>This may turn out long or turn out short, but I just need some help from CCers.</p>

<p>I got a 2160 SAT (730 cr 770 math 660 writing 10 essay), whereas other people on CC get 2400, regardless, I got a 30 on the ACT( I'm studying to retake it), and i will have a 3.7 unweighted GPA.
For EC's Ive been in band for 3 years (I'm ending my junior year)
I've been first chair in All-Region for 3 years
IN my freshman year, I recieve Outstanding Soloist at South Padre.
I'm in NHs and am the secretary of NHS
I am the co founder of spanish nhs and president
im in debate club
im in community service club
im in interact club,
and i've had 20+ hours of internship
and 100+ hours of community service</p>

<p>However, last year (sophomore year) i was suspended for 3 days for drug paraphenilia</p>

<p>would i still be able to get into UT, or like UCLA, UC Berkley, U Mich, etc?
Or will the suspension screw me over?

<p>I’d be nervous, if I were you. However your scores and ECs are very impressive. I suggest Subject tests and AP/Honors courses (if you are not taking them already). The whole drug thing though…I think integrating it into your essay or maybe talking to some of your teachers about it will help. I don’t know much about your issue, but those are my best suggestions!</p>

<p>The drug thing is a kind of turn off for those types of colleges, but I’d say if you can explain it then here’s my guess. I’m not sure what you want to major in though:</p>

<p>UT: should be in
UCLA: Slight Reach
UC Berkeley: Reach
U Mich: should be in</p>
