<p>After the first semester of my Junior year at a well known high school in CT I have
3.1 UW GPA- 2 honors classes
3.2 W GPA
1790 SAT-610 CR, 600 Writing, 580 Math
26 ACT
I come from a respected public school in a very well off area in connecticut.
Many EC’s including FBLA (won a medal), DECA, relay for life, LEGO robotics state champion - went to nationals, homeless shelter involvment, volunteer work at an aquarium for the whole summer and many others.</p>

<p>My essay is also very very good. Not to brag, but thats what my teachers said, as well as my essay tutor.</p>

<p>The fact that you’re from a wealthy area is irrelevant. Your ECs sound good. Be sure to emphasize any leadership positions – sound like a leader instead of a joiner, if that makes sense.</p>

<p>Your verbal score is average and your math score low. Do you have time to take them again, to raise the scores? I would try that if so. Your GPA is also low. It’s good you’re a junior, you have plenty of time to work on raising those stats.</p>

<p>You need to raise your GPA and your ACT or you will have a tough time getting in. But you have time to do that so go for it! :)</p>
