What are my chances of getting admitted as a transfer student?

AND, I will have my GE at my current school finished. I only need to take 2 more upper division courses, hopefully next spring, Calc BC, next spring as well, and CORE 100. My problem is that at my school we cannot take CORE 100 until our Junior Year. Will UCB waive this class and see that I have completed my GE at my current school, or will I have to complete UCB's??

AND, are there any more courses I need to complete??

There is no bizecon major at Cal. I see you posted the same thread on the UCLA forum.

If you are referring to the Business Administration major, it's a slim chance for every transfer student because only 90 transfer students get accepted every year. Transfer preference is given to community college students.

umm i really want to go to UCLA OR UC Berkeley. We can apply to more than one school and most people do. So how does it show that I don't want to go to UCLA as much as I say so?

no funnyman it would show that she may not want to go to UCB as much as she says.

UCLA DOES have a business econ u-grad program.

Maybe just a typo, but it is always helpful to study the websites of schools really in-depth. Then you'll have a lot to write a/b in the transfer essay. If you're wanting to transfer into Haas, I think you'll be one of the relative few that will get accepted, granted you make a strong case for transferring.

I don't want to transfer into Haas. I can't anyway, since I am trying to do an internship all next summer. I will be applying for the Econ major at Berkeley.

oh are you f***king kidding me?!?!?!
Why do you have to apply to the same school and the SAME MAJOR that I apply? Why can't you just apply to Business Admin just like all other super highly qualified applicants?

o well, it's Cal anyway... but still. don't like the fact that I'll have to compete with such person for an Econ major.

Keep in mind the OP is transferring from another UC. Transfer preference is given to students applying from community colleges. I have no idea how transfers from other UCs would work.
