I wanted to ask you guys your thoughts on whether I would get accepted to USC. I'm a national merit semifinalist, expecting to become a finalist next year, and have a relatively high SAT score- 2220. I have a lot of extracurriculars- a lot of volunteering hours, awards from large science fair competitions, editor for journalism, president of a club, and very competitive on the speech and debate team. My only issue is my GPA- 3.6 unweighted (freshman-junior year) and a 3.87 weighted. My grades are terrible and I was hoping that my senior year first semester grades would make a strong impression on the college admission board since I am expecting straight As, raising my GPA to a 3.7 unweighted and 4.05 weighted. I have taken 6 APs during sophomore and junior year and am taking 4 APs this year. I have a very rigorous course schedule and have 4s and 5s on all of my AP tests and a 750-800 range on 3 SAT subject tests. I am a strong writer and have been working on my essays for a while. I know people who have been accepted with a significantly worse gpas and sat scores, but strangely enough people who have 4.0s and strong sat scores. Will I get in? And will I get into the top UCs- Berkeley, LA, and SD? I'm applying in biology for some and business in others. I would greatly appreciate your response.

You need to format this. You can’t expect for anyone spending their time to help you to sort through that paragraph.

Look to other threads for advise. And we don’t care about weighted, all that matters is unweighted and you take the most rigorous coursework.

I apologize. Here’s my edited version.
