I'm hoping to get into UCF but haven't applied yet, do you think I'll get in?
Here are my stats:
GPA UW: 3.56
GPA Weighted: 5.0
IB student for four years
Member of NHS, FNHS, Rho Kappa, and 5+ clubs
At the end of this semester, 6 AP exams taken (3 right now - only passed 2 but might become an AP scholar?)
Community service: 100+
SAT: 1710, 1110 for math + CR (might retake)

Note: Have not taken ACT

I also took 1 DE class and 2 flvs.

Thanks in advance! :)

Two areas of concern…
Your weighed GPA is off……

With 100 % certainty, I can assure you that if you don’t apply, you won’t get accepted; get the hint…

You’ve got to be kidding me, OP…

The weighted GPA is correct, IB weighting is 0.4 like AP but every class we take is IB. Some people have 6.0s.

I’m assuming I get the hint. Thanks for answering. Just worried about applying so late because it’s harder to get in (for fall).

Obviously the poster above me and I are dumbfounded as to why you posted about acceptance vs scholarships or something. Your question should be regarding monetary options based on your stats. Good luck.

I didn’t mention scholarships…D: I’m slightly confused but thanks for wishing me luck, I appreciate it :)

My apologies if I come off as rude. What I’m saying is you should really ask more about scholarships because I’d bet my beloved pickup that you are getting in!

Haha I hope you’re right! That would be amazing. (:

Amazing? Not really. In my opinion, UCF won’t be very hard for you given that you’re IB and have a 5.0. Even if they recalculate it and it lowered, it won’t go down enough to make this not a sure thing.
