Will I get in?

<p>Hi. I'm about to start applying to college and I am wondering about my chances.</p>

<p>I'm from Mississippi and Ole Miss is my front runner. I've grown up an Ole Miss fan and want to follow in my families footsteps and attend there. However, I do have the option to go out of state if I want to.</p>

<p>I made a 24 on the ACT and still looking to improve, but my GPA is around 2.4. I'm not sure of my chances on getting in. I think I can get in but will these stats yield any scholarship? I'm not sure if it matters, but I am in a college preparatory school not apart of the public school system. I don't know if they take that into account or not.</p>

<p>If you have any information about scholarships or any advice it would be greatly appreciated.</p>

<p>If you get in you probably will get little to no money due to the fact that your stats are low and public schools give little merit based money.</p>
