My unweighted GPA is 3.75 and weighted it is 4.92.
My composite ACT score is a 33, but I am going to try to retake it.
Composite SAT score is 2100, again going to retake and probably will not send if ACT is better.
12 honors course throughout high school: English I, Biology, World History, Algebra 2, Chemistry, English II, Spanish 3, Symphonic Band, Civics and Economics, English III, Anatomy and Physiology, Spanish 4
7 AP courses: Statistics, World History, European History, Environmental Science, Calculus BC, Physics C (double AP)
I have played oboe for Symphonic Band since 6th grade.
Played varsity tennis all four years and I am team captain.
Clubs: Green Tigers (environmental science club), Science Olympiad, TRU, Student Class Council, National Honors Society, Tri-Music Honors Society
Awards: 1st place Science Olympiad medals for Disease Detectives, Remote Sensing, Dynamic Planet and Green Generation.
Leadership Roles: Project Manager for Green Tigers, Camp councilor at Arts Center, Secretary of Tri-Music Honors Society
Volunteer Work: 200+ hours at a hospital in India; 40 hours at Arts Center (camp councilor)
Internship at UNC Biology Labs, two summers long, with a recommendation letter from supervising professor (who teaches biology at UNC).

<p>As an incoming freshman at UNC, I would say your chances of getting in are great. I applied last year in regular decision with similar stats and was accepted, even as an out of state applicant.</p>
