Your chances are not good. The GPA will probably hold you back the most. The employment history might be able to help admissions go in your favor. The current standardized test scores are okay, but if you are applying from out of the state, they’re also low. Write amazing personal statements, and good luck!

Here’s the thing with the idea of others telling you your chances. It is all based on personal opinion along with some stats that each individual has heard before; however, a good portion of the time, their assumption that someone doesn’t have a good chance is wrong. I’m sure you have probably already heard that sometimes people with a 4.4 gpa with many EC’s get rejected, but someone with a lower GPA got in. It’s true.

Usually for having an unweighted GPA at 3.14, the most common assumption would be that your chances are really low considering that average is a 3.9 unweighted I believe (correct me if I am wrong), but either way, every one will tell you that your gpa is low; therefore, you should write a great personal statement and try to do more EC’s.

Sometimes having a high test score balances out a lower GPA. I like the EC’s you have in your history, but overall, don’t be demotivated if someone tells you that your chances are low, because you never know what is possible. I wish you the best of luck.
