My SATs are 640 (CR) 650 (Math) and 690 (Writing). This makes an 1980 SAT with a 1290 CR+M composite. I am applying to the school of Psychology at Clemson and I'm extremely nervous about my chances of acceptance. Does anyone know when I could find out based on my stats? I know Febuary 15th is when I probably will, but could I find out sooner? I applied September 9th. Has anyone else recently gotten that could share with my their experiences? Thank you. I'm a nervous wreck.

I have taken 8 APs and every other class was honors. I am my class treasurer and I am very involved in my school

if you’re in the top 10% of your high school class, you may qualify for a scholarship and may hear back sooner as a result - otherwise you’ll probably hear back February 15th. Psychology is not a hard major to get into so you’ve definitely got a good shot.

I am not in the top 10% but I go to a pretty competitive high school. Would I qualify for any other scholarship

Ignoring the scholarship… Are my chances of regular acceptance alright?

If you’re not in the top 10% of your class then your chances of getting a merit scholarship probably aren’t good. What was your GPA? Your SAT scores are good and you’ve taken hard classes.

3.9 cumulative unweighted (only Bs I’ve ever had was 1 my freshman year) and a 4.952 weighted

yeah I think you’ve got a pretty good shot

You will get in… I live 5min from clemson and everyone at my school who has at least a 1200 SAT gets in. Unless there is some huge red flag like a 1.0 GPA or something, you should be fine

I’m pretty sure you couldn’t get in with a 2.0 or 3.0 GPA either…
