For my personal statement I wrote about the variety of cultures I was raised with (mom is Chinese, dad is catholic and white). I know my gpa is low but I wrote about why in the additional space. I also applied for Seattle University, University of Oregon. Thanks!

UW takes a holistic approach when reviewing applications, which means that numbers are not the only thing they care about.
Your GPA is fairly low, but hopefully your SAT makes up for it.
You should have taken more AP courses, but what’s done is done.
