Will I get in?

I applied to Georgia Tech last November, but I have no idea if I will get in or not. I think applied as a mechanical engineering major. If not, than it is some other form of engineering. Is there anyone out there who knows if I am likely to get in or not?

I am a peer tutor. In 11th grade I was also a varsity cheerleader.

I have ADHD. After 10th grade I started taking medication to focus. That is why my grades went up so drastically.

12th grade classes: english, AP calculus AB, AP physics n/m, AP physics e/m, AP macroeconomics

My high school has a block schedule. The first semester is almost over. I am expecting to have a B+ or A- in english, a B in AP physics n/m, and a C+ or B- in AP macroeconomics.

Georgia Tech is a reach for you. I applied EA this fall with much higher stats (3.7 Unweighted, 34 ACT), and I got rejected. Georgia Tech got ultra-competitive this year compared to previous years. The EA acceptance rate was a 30%, 15% lower than for the class of 2015. So, RD is going to be a reach for even the most qualified applicants. I know someone at my school who had straight A’s, was a national merit semi-finalist, 2300+ SAT, who got rejected EA as well.

@QuiteAverage90 Yeah I wasn’t really expecting to get in. I am not at all upset about my possible rejection from GT. It’s more the other schools that I am really nervous about.

i got in with a 30 act
