Bumpity Bump <-- Apparently this is what you say when you dont want your post to get lost in the new thread thingy
Hi. So I am a senior in high school and I have a really sucky GPA. Im talking 2.4 Sucky! I know it’s low. But all my life I have been going to a public school until my first year of high school my parents sent me to a charter school for the first time called GSMST - Gwinnett School of Mathematics Science and Technology. That school was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to go through. They gave out laptops to each student that attended and everything was done online. It gave out 8 hours of homework each night. There were no classes below Honors. It was either Honors or AP. Seriously it was just a very hard school in which I failed ALL my classes with 50s and 60s except 1…Engineering and I got a 78 in that. I finally got my parents to let me drop out! I was so relieved. i just had to focus on bringing my GPA as at the time it wasnt even a 2.0!
So i transferred back to public school and i have been working my ass off! I’ve joined many clubs and other extra curricular activities. I have 200 Volunteer hours in my community documented in my school records. I have retaken classes to help me get back on track with graduating! I havent failed a single class since transferring back to public school. I got my transcript last week and I have a 2.5GPA! which I know sucks but I cant do much about it anymore. ('m still going to try obviously) but It’s going to be hard to pull it up. I am also taking my SAT in 3 days and I am sure Ill do better than 1000.
SO WHAT I AM TRYING TO SAY HERE…
I havent taken in AP Classes…Just Honors and Accelerated Math.
I have 200+ hours of community service (volunteer hours)
I have joined many extra curricular activities and other clubs that I am getting a cord for this year for graduation.
I’m positive I’ll do better than a 1000 on my SAT i’m going to take in 3 days…
I wrote a bomb ass essay which all of my teachers have liked so far.
So with all this information…Do i have a chance of getting into Georgia state university.
