sat is very low, it will be very hard to overcome that with the rest of your application... (that being said i got a 1980 on my SAT so i have a low chance of getting in too :()

Your SAT score will hurt you, but other than that you're a strong candidate. Wharton is fairly numbers-driven, however. You have a fair chance, but it could go the other way just as easily. Sorry I can't give any more insight.

I hate to break the news to ya kid but the SAT scores are going to kill you. Even the writing is too low (I think that top schools don't care THAT much about the writing so long as it's not < 650). I'd say your chances of getting deferred are better than flat-out rejection, because you are really strong on paper and have good rank. And who knows, it may happen. But, we're talking about Wharton here...Wharton is...well, Wharton, so I'm just giving an honest assessment. Good luck

i know my sat is bad, but its not the end of the world. Look at my act score of 30. on this chart, the one most colleges use it says 1360-1390 and 2040-2090.

many schools can request it - some colleges say they use it to guage ur "actual" writing skills. but i doubt EDers at penn get all that attention.

funny that i dont think i know ur name, pyar. :D but good to kno i have a date my first day in college! :D
