<p>(Note: my gpa freshman year was about a 2.6, sophomore year about a 3.4 and jr year about a 3.5. I have taken more credits than needed in almost every subject, however i only completed 1.5 years of spanish and 2 years of sign language)</p>

<p>Outside of school, i have worked at a quiznos for 2 years, and now work for a child abuse clinic. I have also volunteered for a few political campains.</p>
<p>I'm from Montgomry County, Maryland. I go to a public school. MoCo is sopposed to be one of the best public school education systems in the country.</p>
<p>I think your chances of acceptance are very good. Apply early in the Fall. Since ECU is a rolling admissions sch., the earlier you apply, the better.</p>
<p>ECU academics are prob. about the same as any other non-flagship state u. The students are a mix of average to strong. Some depts. are considered stronger than others as at all schools. Honors courses are offered if that is what you're looking for.</p>

I attended ECU. My S is now a freshman there. We are fr. NC. If you expect people to be polite to you then you should extend that same courtesy.</p>
<p>Funny that you are worried about name calling (being called a yankee in the south) but yet you have no problem characterizing southerners as rednecks. </p>
<p>There are a lot of oos students at ECU. One of my S's best friends is fr. Maryland.</p>
