Hey everyone, Just a quick question about gettting into Virginia Tech...
I was wondering if i could get into Virginia Tech with a 92% weighted average and a 91% unweighted average and with 1170 Sat (630 Math and 550 Reading) im taking the SAT again
Also I am a president of a club so....i dont know how much that helps but yeah...Thanks for helping!

This should probably be in the Virginia Tech section, but I say if you can get your SAT scores to about 1250 (Math + Reading), you probably have a good shot. I’m not sure how your GPA translates into a 4.0 scale though. If all else fails, I would work on making sure you have pretty good essays and recs.

my GPA is in the 3.5-3.6ish but i dont know if it is different in my school…Cause 100-93 is an A and 92-86 is a B and 85-77 is a C…yeah and hopefully i do get my SAT scores up…wow and i failed at calculating i have a 1180 sat score

Weird. I have bascially the same score. 1180-ish. My school works with the same grading system, but i’m not sure whether that gives you an 3.5-3.6. Not sure whether you’re doing ED or RD. (Sorry if that’s wrong, I don’t know how they do it exactly) If you’re doing ED, just send your scores and send the October scores right after. If you’re doing RD, you have plenty of time to get your scores up, so I wouldn’t worry.

Well i want to get my college stuff done by at least november…and im doin RD…but would it be easier to get into Vtech ED? And i live in Pennsylvania so is it harder Out of state?
