Hi. I am going into my senior year this August. The school I really want to go to is the University of Central Florida. I am of hispanic heritage, currently have a cumulative 3.3 weighted, 3.0 unweighted. I am, however currently doing grade forgiveness for two classes, that will replace the two D's that I have ever gotten in my life. My SAT scores were: 550 reading, 570 math, 550 writing. I took three years of spanish and passed the AP spanish exam with a 5. I took American History dual enrollment at my local community college. Senior year I am taking Precalc, Physics, Engineering Technology, and Dual Enrollment english 4, along with two other electives. I don't have many extra curriculars. I was on the JV football team freshmen year, that's pretty much it. If I have to I am willing to start the summer of 2011, right after I graduate, since it is easier to get in. Do you guys think I will be fine? I am a bit nervous.

umm…im not sure…ud need to realllyyy pull up ur gpa to at least a 3.5…ur gpa is really low…academic core gpa is what really counts…and since ur weighted is a 3.3 then ur academic must probably be in the 2.8 or 2. something range…which is really low…considering that the average gpa to get into ucf is a 3.8…also…UCF from what ive heard automatically differs you if you received a D in any classes that youve take…so if i were you id defenitely apply for summer…and get that gpa up and those ACT/SAT scores up ASAP!
