Will I get in????

<p>Hello,</p>

<p>I am posting this to see what you guys think about whether I would get into:
USC
U Wash
Boston University
Duke University
Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute
Vanderbilt University</p>

<p>Here are my stats:</p>

<p>GPA: 3.98 (UW) Basically, 1 B and the rest A's
Weighted: 4.10 (My school only offers 4 AP classes :/)
I am 99% sure I am going to be Salutatorian</p>

<p>Testing:
SAT I: 2180 (760 CR, 740 Math, 680 WR)
SAT II's: 710 Biology M
750 Literature
Will take Math Level 2
AP:
Psych: 5 (Self-study)
Bio: 4
US History: 5
ACT: 32</p>

<p>Classes:
All honors, typical stuff (rigorous as can be at my school) the four AP classes at my school are:
APUSH, AP English, AP Bio, AP Calc AB</p>

<p>ECs: Senior Class President, Class councilor Junior year
Key Club for three years, now Secretary
Student Ambassador Team, helps acclimatize new students to our school, reaches out to those who feel ostracized, team members chosen by teacher
Involved in Youth Group past 4 years
Piano Lessons for 7 years leading up to senior year</p>

<p>Sports:
Varsity Swimming all four years, lettered twice so far, probably again Senior Year</p>

<p>Work Experience:
Worked at Athletic club 2 years, maintenence (Freshman and sophmore)
Taught Swim lessons as a Red Cross Certified Water Safety Instructor (took a class, Junior and Senior year)</p>

<p>Summer Experiences of Note:
This past summer I went to Vanderbilt Summer Academy, also I went to Mexico on a house building missions trip. </p>

<p>Award:
Spanish 3 student of the year</p>

<p>Recs:
Probably good. Counselor knows me very well and so do teachers (Spanish teacher I have had for the past 3 years, Math Teacher I have for Calc I also had Freshman and Sophmore year)</p>

<p>Essays:
Pretty good. I am not too shabby of a writer. </p>

<p>Hooks:
Seemingly none. Middle-class, European, coming from rural Oregon. </p>

<p>Majors of Interest:
Biomedical Engineering and Neuroscience</p>

<p>i think you can get into all these schools. i know someone with the same critical reading score and he got a merit based scholarship from duke.</p>

<p>wow that would be cool to get a merit scholarship!</p>

<p>Any other thoughts? are these good places to go to?</p>
