I want to go to ASU but am scared about not getting in. I'm a average student I would say. I live in Wyoming so obviously I'd be out of state. My gpa is a 3.67. I have never gotten a C before, always mostly A's with a few B's here and there. But on the ACT I only got an 18, that's why I'm worried about not getting in. Oh and I'm a senior and my class rank is 54 out of 400+. can't remember the exact number, I think it's like 410 or somewhere around there.

Being an in-state student from AZ who has a lot of friends going to ASU, it seems like you should be okay with the grades you have. The only real issue is the act score, if you can get that up a few more points that would really help alot. I dont think it’s gonna be too much of a problem though. I have a friend who is applying with about a 2.8ish gpa/21 act and it seems like he’s good to go there.

If you want to go to the real school in arizona though, go to uofa ;)

good luck!

Yes, u will

ACT of 18 and out-of-state? That’s really low, and you should definitely consider re-taking it in December and studying for it beforehand. Really, it will boost your chances significantly.

Its low but his GPA is good and ASU isn’t that hard to get into. I think you still get in even with the 18.

Such a low ACT of 18 and such a high GPA of 3.67? 18 is below-average for ASU but on the other hand there is a 92% acceptance rate. You are out-of-state.

My advice if you want to boost your chances significantly? Take both the SAT and the ACT in December.

Anyone else?
