i have a few safeties already (UCI, UCSB)

You have decent shots at all of them, however, it's really pretty much 50-50 with each one.

You need a safety, although it's likely you'd get into at least ONE of those... its definately not a definate thing.

Pretty good app, 'cept your UC GPA is sorta low for Berkeley, and the weighted GPA is not quite the best for Cornell. That might lower your chances.

oh i c, thanks for the input! : ) makes me feel better about getting into one of them

I agree with above. It isn't likely you'd get rejected at all of them, but find a safety you're happy with, in case that does happen.

UCLA/Cal- Slight reach (in-state)

yeah my safeties are UCI and UCSB. i applied to UCSD im not sure if thats a safety maybe low safety? but yeah my dream school is Cornell but id be happy with TUFTS or UCLA or any of those schools i listed

UCSD is a safe match.

Colgate and Holy Cross-near Boston-are 2 fine LAC'S that are easier to get into than Tufts. HC is also SAT optional.

its too late to aply to more colleges becuase id have to ask counselors to send more in for me and they wont do that, not for me wiht a senior class of 1000+. On that list i thought Tufts would be the easiest to ge tinto...i guess not O_O

bumpppppppppppppppp

okay..one more try...

ok i just want to say one thing...applying to more schools does not impact your chance of getting in percent wise...it basically just means ur app will get read by a greater diversity of admission officers and if that one admission officer just seems to bond w/ that app then you're in =D so basically threre is no such thing as if i apply to these many reach schools, atleast one will accept me good luck though =D O.o spend so much time on this...i must be bored...

oh i wanst doing the shotgun method. I just wantd to see if i could get into one of those schools cuz i dbe happy wtih just one. i dont wanna end up at a safety

flong...don;t worry about it a school does not define who you are as a person...even if you go to a safe school...i think you're arcadian lol...you will still end up where you would have ended up in a reach school...your personality and character is what really defines your future not your college

LOLLLL easier said then actually done...

no...that was pretty hard to say...3 FULL lines of typing...my fingers got tired...

hahah damn..i thought i had really good chances at tufts and UCLA too oh well

flong i was just jking...u have a great chance in those schools i'm just trying to discuss about the applying to alot of school method...the comments were not directed at you

no LOL i talked to some cousnelor doode today from my school. apparently the only shot i do have is UCLA since its instate. Tufts is significantly harder to get into now and Wesleyan is too good of a LAC to look over my GPA. or so he says -shrug-.
