Will I get into Beloit College RD?

Obviously, you won't know. I'm pretty sure I have a chance, but I've been feeling pretty unconfident in my stats lately. Hopefully I'm in the ballpark of probability...

I'm taking (and testing in) all IB classes with no frees.

My SATs = 1290 (math + reading)

My GPA = 3.72 (cumulative)

Extracurriculars include:
* Model UN–committee chair & leader (three years)
* International Service Club–VP (three years)
* Spent one summer teaching English in Taiwan
* PR Intern for local organization

I want to go into creative writing and education and my recs are from a published author (one of my writing mentors) and a foreign language teacher. I interviewed for Beloit this November as well (and I think it went well, but I don't know if I'm just making that up...)

Also, if I do have a chance, will I qualify for the presidential scholarship?

I think you have a very good chance but did you fill out the on line form for the Presidential scholarship? I think you are eligible. If not, do it right away and let your admissions officer know you did. The first weekend is this weekend and the next is sometime in February - [Prospective Students: Merit-Based Scholarships](<a href=“Tuition & Aid • Admissions • Beloit College”>Tuition & Aid • Admissions • Beloit College)

I would feel pretty confident if I were you. At least when I was there, Beloit had an excellent creative writing program. I suggest that you follow SimpleRules advice and to check out the requirements for the Presidential Scholarship on-line.

Good luck.

Thanks! :)
