Will I get into BU? What about Northeastern?

Sorry, I haven’t posted on here before so I might have done something wrong.

GPA: 3.4
Junior GPA: 3.65

SAT (2400): 2030
SAT (1600): 1380
ACT: 30
ACT Writing: 8

Classes: All C1 but senior year I’m taking 3 AP classes next year
Sports: Tennis, Cross Country
Extracurriculars: Frisbee Club, Chess Club, Scouts
Major Awards: Eagle Scout
Alumni: 2 grandparents, one cousin, and one parent (BU alumni)

And I’d say my essay is pretty good so far, I don’t know if I can post it here. If I can, I’d love critique.

My GPA is a bit low due to a bad freshman year and I’ve been in all C1 mostly because of it. I’m planning on taking AP Stat, Econ, and Psych next year to show that I can handle a tougher workload, and raise my weighted GPA a bit. I have C1 precalc and english, along with an online honors level class next year too (but that’ll be easy).

I took the SAT again this morning, and I feel really good about the math section, so there’s a decent chance at getting a 720+ on it I think.

Thanks for all the help, I’ve been a little stressed with college stuff lately, and am trying to figure out what to do for classes next year (they’re due Wednesday).

I forgot one really important thing, I might get an internship at MIT this summer working in their media lab. I figure that could be huge for some schools but I don’t know completely.

Get your ACT up to a 33 and you most likely will.

You definitely have a solid chance at those two schools. Colleges will always prefer a slightly lower GPA over easy classes, but only to a certain point - don’t overload yourself senior year. Leadership positions in EC’s will also help, if possible. If you do well on the SAT and keep up your GPA I’d say you have a good chance of getting in. Good luck!!

(chance back?? http://talk.qa.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1751707-chances-for-yale-tufts-wesleyan.html?new=1 )

Both schools only take one test I think, so if I can get a 720+ on the math SAT I’m just going to retest on the SAT. I’d love to chance you back but I’m not sure I’d be too helpful haha.
