Hi, I’m currently a senior going through the college application process. My dream school is CU Boulder, but I’m not sure if I’ll get in.
Weighted GPA: 3.29
ACT:26
I have taken 6 AP Classes and 6 Honors classes. I’m out of state and I have a bunch of stuff for extra curricular activities.
You have a fairly good chance of being admitted, but it’s not 100% guaranteed. Apply EA, that’s a must. It’s believed that it significantly boots your chances. Also, know what you’re applying for. Anything in LEEDS or the engineering school you probably wouldn’t be admitted directly into. Also, the essay gives you an opportunity to really outshine other applicants (some people don’t even fill it out, but definitely do and work really hard on it). I just got in last year with stats pretty much identical to yours. I know this process is really stressful but I assure you it’ll all work out. Best of luck!
could you please let me know what you mean by “Anything in LEEDS or the engineering school you probably wouldn’t be admitted directly into.”? Does it mean we need to apply to CU first and then apply for our major?
