Hiii I’m really nervous about applying. I want to go to FSU or UCF. I’m dual enrolled and will have my AA before I graduate high school my gpa is a weighted 3.9 unweighted 3.3 my sat score is really low (990) but I plan on taking it again. I have 326 volunteer hours from multiple places. I didn’t do well 9th grade and got a D in one class but since then I’ve improved a lot. What are my chances of getting accepted to summer or fall 2017?
If you have an AA from a Florida college, your SAT doesn’t matter, nor does your high school GPA. With an AA, you should be able to apply as an upper-division transfer and start as a junior, provided you meet the prerequisites for your intended major.
Since Im applying before I graduate I’m considered first time in college student so I have to use the freshman app. So I have to send all sat scores and high school transcripts
Unless something has changed, I don’t think that is true. I definitely applied before completing my AA, although I was a high school graduate already.
When you fill out the application, there should be a section where you put the classes that you will be taking in order to finish your AA, and meet the prerequisites for your major. Obviously, these courses will need to be completed by the semester for which you are applying.
If you haven’t already, you may want to check with FSU admissions.
If checked and called and asked, since I haven’t graduated and haven’t taken college courses outside of dual enrollment I’m freshman
With junior standing
