<p>I'm just finishing Junior year, but I figured i should put some thought into what colleges I should shoot for. </p>

<p>These are my credentials:</p>

<p>I'm in the IB program at my school.
4th in my class (top .9% of my class lol)
unweighted GPA: 3.38
weighted GPA: 4.8
1700/2400 on SATs
560 Reading
550 Math
590 Writing</p>

<p>Swim Team captain
Water Polo captain
2 years of Wrestling</p>

<p>Bulgarian (white =( )</p>

<p>4 AP classes ( half passed with 4, other half with a 2 =( )
6 IB classes
2+ more AP classes to test out of</p>

<p>so what are my chances of acceptance?</p>

<p>it was my first time taking the test and i didnt study. feel like i wasted 8 hours of my life lol</p>

<p>Dude you are in. I have classmates that have gotten in with 3.5 GPA and 21 ACT’s.</p>

<p>You’ve definitely got a great chance to get in. I recommend taking the ACT to see how you do. I did much better on the ACT (27) than I did on the SAT (1650 cumulative). If you don’t do well, then take the other. Your SATs are alright as is, but just to be safe, and I emphasize “safe,” then re-test.</p>

<p>I got in this year with these credentials:
GPA: 4.2 weighted
Dual-Enrollment Credit Hours: 30
ACT: 27
SAT: 460 Reading, 650 Math, 540 Writing
Extracurriculars: Worked all 4 years in high school (15-50 hours per week)
Top 10% of My Class</p>

<p>If I was able to get in then you should be, too. I’d even go so far as to say that I’d be somewhat surprised if you didn’t get in when you apply.</p>

<p>you serious? you’re in IB you’ll get in. try to raise your SAT though so you can get into the honors program (I was in IB with 3.34 gpa but 2070 SAT so don’t worry)</p>

<p>You’re in. You don’t even need to take the SAT again because you’re in IB (high five!) and have a high rank.</p>

<p>you do want to take SATs again and/or ACT–you could get a scholarship from the school in addition to Bright Futures.</p>

<p>True; I forgot about the scholarship from FSU. But if you get your IB Diploma, you’ll get the maximum for Bright Futures anyway.</p>

Are you really 4th and above the 99th percentile of your class? That’s got to be one huge class!</p>
