Will i get into Georgetown???

Female, Biracial
My school will only send my weighted GPA, which is about a 3.85. Unfortunatley, when calculated, my unweighted GPA will be only about a 3.5, brought down due to a horrible sophomore year, which I will explain in my essay. I have 5s in all AP tests.
SAT: 2300
Intended Majors: Journalism and PolySci
SAT 2: US History:740 World History: 780 Literature: 780
Attends the most rigorous public school in the state.
Wonderful Rec letters
I will apply Regular Decision, so I am hoping to send my first quarter senior grades (which will be good).

ECs (shortened for the sake of time):
800 community service hours (mostly with disabled kids)
Started a non profit organization
Published poet
Finalist for multiple national essay competitions
Freshman mentor
Peer Tutor
Mock Trial (Best witness award, made it to states)
Model UN Secretary
Junior State of America Vice President
etc,

Thanks!

Georgetown is very difficult to get into–around where I like no one gets in, not even a lot of the successful Ivy applicants (but this is just a local phenomenon), so I wouldn’t say you’re definitely going to be accepted, but your scores are super high, your grades are still very good ,and your ECs seem better than average! I think you have a good chance!
