Im fairly poor and require scholarship over prestige want to go to IVY but only if I can get decent amount of Scholarship what are my chances of that?

Ivies do not offer merit scholarships, but do have perhaps the best need-based aid. You’ll need a higher science Subject Test to be more competitive for combined BA/MD programs.

I think you have a better chance going the normal route than the combined route, especially if your looking at a place like Brown PLME or NU HPME. They’re very competitive and very hard to get in to. Thousands of applications for a handful of spots.
Good Luck.

Boston university has the seven year medical program. Its extremely competitive though and you have to take very specific SAT subject tests to get admitted into it, I think its chemistry, math II, and either biology, or a humanity/language. Honestly, even if you didn’t get into it, what is one year off of college? Just do well in colleges take the MCAT and apply to medical school.

Yea I live in Texas and I was thinking that 8 year may be best go with some classes knocked off from AP can maybe save me a year or something. Im really sweating the upcoming MCAT cuz if I dont do well ill have to give up my medical school fantasies. Yea my parents are not living in the U.S. I live with relatives so basically income = 0$ Im on my own when it comes to college.

And we are on weighted system so I don’t think I transferred that GPA right might be 4.0 I guess I did it wrong because you said that that was unlikely. What do you guys recommend for me to do getting into BS/MD? Ill be willing to get low need based scholarship and loan if I get in.

If my Parents Income must be stated it is not near the poverty line here because they make money in rupees so they make like 95k a year combined and they need to live there they cant afford to save money. : (
